Setting Up A Online Fundraising Page
If you’ve never done any online fundraising before, don’t panic, its easy! Below is a step by step guide to setting up a fundraising page through Virgin Money Giving. If you have previously registered with them, then all you need to do is log into your account, follow points two to five below and your page will be set up and ready to go.
1. Go to virginmoneygiving.com
Visit the Virgin Money Giving sign-in page and enter a few simple details.
2. Select the best fundraising option for you
Start your own fundraising challenge - choose this option to promote your own challenge.
Change the world in honour of someone special - choose this option to help share a challenge in memory of a loved one. You will be asked to enter their name and your relationship to them.
Change the world as a team - choose this option to promote a team challenge. You will be asked to enter your team name and teammates’ email addresses, so they can be found on the Virgin Money Giving database. If they’re not registered already you will need to add their names too.
3. Tell Virgin Money Giving why you are fundraising
You will be directed to your new fundraising challenge page. Here, you will be able to enter a short description of what you’re doing to raise money: whether you are joining a large event, doing your own activity or celebrating something special.
4. Select the National Bereavement Partnership
Here, you will be asked to enter your chosen charity, for which you are planning to fundraise.
5. Finalise your fundraising page
At the bottom of the page click ‘Create my page’. Your online page will then be live and you are ready to start spreading the word. Good luck with your fundraising from all the team at National Bereavement Partnership.
