Helping to improve mental health and wellbeing

Volunteer

We are always interested in hearing from anyone who wishes to volunteer with us. We welcome enquiries from counsellors

 

  • Qualified counsellors, Psychotherapists and relevant professionals. 

  • Excellent listening skills and empathy

  • To have an open mind, non judgemental and the ability to not give an opinion

  • Previous experience of working with the bereaved (an advantage but not essential)

  • Previous experience of working a helpline (an advantage but not essential)

  • Reliable, self aware, conscientious and willing to learn in order to deliver an optimum service

  

If you currently hold an enhanced and in-date DBS check, you will be required to carry out a basic DBS check. If not, you are required to carry out an enhanced check.
